The Provenance of Red Sea Glass ~ Red seaglass can sometimes be traced back to the lanterns hung on to the port side of a ship. Red sea glass is extremely rare because it was only made for a small period of time. Gold, always a highly prized and expensive metal, was often one of ingredients used in this vintage shade of red beach-glass.
